HCL Infosystems and Consolidated Gulf Co. join hands

3_1Bay News Network, Visakhapatnam: HCL Infosystems Ltd., India’s premier hardware, services and ICT systems integration and distribution company and Consolidated Gulf Co. (CGC), leading technology and engineering solutions and service provider in Qatar jointly, on Monday announced a strategic partnership to make available HCL Laptops, Desktops and Tablets in the country. As part of the strategic tie up, CGC would be HCL Infosystems’ authorised distributor for Qatar and will cater to corporate, project and retail business needs. CGC will also provide after-sales support for the HCL products through its service centers.  Anil Mahajan, COO, CGC, and Harsh Chitale, CEO, HCL Infosystems, signed an agreement to this effect in Doha recently. Shivkumar Gopal, CEO, HCL Infosystems, MEA, and Abhishek Kumar, Manager, Consumer Electronics, CGC, were also present on the occasion.

Anil Mahajan, COO, CGC expressed happiness over associating with a prominent brand to serve the Qatar market and said, “Our partnership will complement the growing needs of the diversified customer profiles. There is a good demand for quality laptops, desktops and tablets for cost conscious customers in the region. And HCL products with the latest technology are geared to fulfill such gaps in local market. We intend to tap the growing market needs by leveraging our common strengths, including a countrywide distribution network, well connected sales team and innovative HCL products. We are confident to meet the requirements of the vast and different customer segments through the range of proven computing products from the reputed brand.”

Commenting on the tie up,  Harsh Chitale, CEO, HCL Infosystems said, “We are delighted to partner CGC to make our computing products available to different businesses in the region.
