VUDA issued 5 Building permissions on spot in Meet the VC
Bay News Network, Visakhapatnam: Meet the VC, an initiative taken by the Vice Chairman of VUDA Kona Sasidhar has yielded results more than expectations by extending fruitful services to the users. The programme meant for disposal of grievances in time and hassle free well received by the applicants.
Meet the VC had begun on Tuesday wherein the Vice Chairman along with officers and staff of Planning wing were made available with all the relevant files and final orders were issued to some of the applicants on spot, whose files were found all correct. Meet the VC programme has been introduced with an objective of extending better and transperant services to the applicants of layouts approval and building permissions in VUDA area.
Building permissions to five applicants have been signed and issued in the programme along with another order for a layout applicant directing for peg marking. The Vice Chairman Sasidhar assured that the programme would be conducted twice in a month here after and steps will be taken to extend better services.
Chief Urban planner RJ Vidyullatha, Planning Officer KD Brainard, Assistant planning officers B Ramatirtha, L Subrahmanyam, MVS Reddy, Nagalakshmi, D Suseela and the Deputy Director of PCPIR V Ram Kumar and the planning staff attended the programme. Applicants from Vizianagaram area K Seetharama Murthy, V Satyavati, G Ramesh, Balaji Constructions and S Mutyala Naidu were issued building permissions on spot in the Meet the VC programme. The Vice Chairman signed the orders in the presence of the applicants and directed the planning officials to hand over the proceedings to the applicants. A layout applicant IA Raja Verma was issued orders for peg marking in the layout.
Though the Meet the VC conducted on Tuesday was not meant for the LRS grievances, the Vice Chairman allowed the LRS applicants attended, to seek grievance. He directed the concern planning staff to put up files for disposal of LRS approvals within time.
Representatives of the Andhra Pradesh Real Estate Developers Association (APREDA) also met the Vice Chairman during the programme and requested for exemption of land conversion charges for layout developments in the newly added areas of VMR, since the Master plan has not yet been finalized. President B Ravidnranath Tagore, Vice President G Chakradhar Rao, Treasurer N Srinagesh, Joint Secretary MA Hussain and executive members Chilukuri Srinivas and Shyam were among those met the Vice Chairman. On finding shortfalls with majority of building permission applications, especially from rural areas, the Vice Chairman directed the Planning officials to circulate information about proformas and checklists to the Local Bodies, particularly to the Gram panchayats.
